Looking to bridge the gap between personal investing and market analysis, Aries is a Fintech start up with a bright future. Founded on using the latest technology and offering entry level investors smart money techniques, their iOS app seeks to lead the charge in an already saturated market.
Capturing the attention of both users and small to large companies through design is always a challenge. For the Aries project, the goal was to design an interface that could showcase complex data and analytics without feeling heavy or overwhelming. The strategy was two fold — incorporate a simple color palette and focus on reducing cognitive load as much as possible.
Founded on an empathetic approach, the Aries trading app and its tools are designed with a human-centered and user experience foundation. Starting with selecting a mid-bright green as the primary color, with purple and greys as secondary colors, the system utilizes white space, bold typography and contrasting elements across both iOS and Android devices.
Built on a fully responsive design system, and building off the minimalist approach to desktop, we ensured a smooth and seamless transition to mobile which included re-invisioning the navigation.
